the start of a new project
What is very interesting to note is that each time I start a new project, first of all, I am not sure if I will finish it, but also I am certainly not sure how I will finish it. I am part of the contemporary Australian Family project (please see the link: http://australianfamily.wordpress.com/) and I have to portray Australian families of today. Below are some of my first images taken for the project.
new url to Australian photographers
Hi there,
Here are some of my latest discovery of photographers. All of them are form Australia.
I hope you enjoy looking at some refreshing images.
Too many times in Darwin…
Darwin, not the famous scientist, but the city, or should I say the town? I hade to wander in Darwin city centre for more than a month. I had to literally wander the streets of Darwin, to pass the time. I was bored in a boring town! Or is it the context that was boring, separated for my wife and son, without a friend and on sick leave? My only companion was my camera; and here is what we saw together.
Another time I may choose to go back to Darwin; I doubt it, but who knows? If that were to happen would I take the same kind of images?
New links

it is so good to see him growing!
It is the first time I am introducing you to my family. All those photographs were taken last week-end in Timor-Leste where we are leaving since July 2007. Archer, our son, arrived in Timor-Leste when he was 3 weeks old; he is now 2,5 years old. It is fascinating to look at him growing. I believe that he is not the only growing in the family; since I became a father I must admit that I have grown also!
Florence, my wife, Archer my son and I are leaving Timor-Leste for good in July.
Today back to Timor
Today I am going back to Timor-Leste.
I wanted to mark this day with a short movie that I did yesterday as a way to look back to my hospitalization experience. After having spent about 2 months in Darwin I am very exited to be with with my lovely wife and son.
Is there any lessons to learn from my experience? Yes….but I will share them in my next post. Meanwhile, please have a look at the movie (see the link below).
Do not hesitate to leave some comments…
